Workout Exactly What You Need

Use the calculator below to work out how many bulk bags of topsoil you will need for your project.

Simply enter the length and width of your area, followed by the depth you would like your topsoil to be and we’ll take care of the complex maths!

Our calculator works out exactly how many bags of topsoil you need. Unlike other companies, we won’t round up how many bags you need.

We want to leave it upto our customers to decide whether they want topsoil left over or if they want to have slightly less depth.

For example, if your chosen project requires 10.4 bags of topsoil, you would need to purchase 11 bags and have 0.6m³ left over, or you could choose to have slightly less depth and opt for 10 bags.

We leave that decision to you.

As we have described above, if you have entered your details and the number of bags isn’t whole i.e 9.1 bags or 7.6 bags, please remember that to complete the job to your desired dimensions, you will need to round the number of bags up, so 9.1 bags becomes 10 bags and 7.6 bags becomes 8 bags etc. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to call us on: 0121 474 3506 or contact us here.
