Delivery Details
Deliveries are made using a tail-lift and hand maneuvered pump truck. Unfortunately we cannot deliver onto a gravel driveway. Please be aware that if you cancel your order once it has left our hub the customer is liable for a transport and administration charge of £30 each way.
Our vegetable mix topsoil is organic and contains a blend of natural conditioners. It is mainly loam soil and is ideal for vegetables. Our vegetable mix topsoil has good drainage and is also suitable for fruits. Vegetables may include tomatoes, courgettes and others. The draining of the soil is moderate and not too fast or slow.
It is healthy soil that will give you an abundant yield. The soil remains nutritiously organic for a long time. We have a variation of top soil that you can use for horticultural top dressing, to nourish the top soil on your lawn. Vegetable mix topsoil is versatile and has great yield for a variety of vegetables. In addition, our vegetable mix topsoil is fine-textured. Plants that grow in it easily take up water, oxygen and nutrients.
When you obtain our fresh vegetable mix topsoil, you need not worry about essential nutrients being present in your soil. Your plants will bloom in any weather condition with this soil and proper care. Our topsoil combines the essential nutrients and minerals, and it also retains these for a long time.
The topsoil further contains microorganisms. You can use the topsoil when you are planning to plant on a lawn or garden, but not in pots or containers. It combines with existing soil in the outdoor lawns.
Do not lay vegetable mix topsoil as a separate layer. This abnormally increases drainage and the roots of the vegetables stagnate at the top soil. Another situation that inhibits the roots is when top soil is softer than the other soil. Appealing results require about 3 inches of topsoil. Apply it on the garden and mix it with the other soil. The mixture creates a transitional layer on which you can add more top soil.
It blends well with the garden soil to support root growth. You also need to add very little fertiliser to enrich the plants.
